What to Wear:      Bathing suit, warm clothes, costume, etc. - Anything you want! (Just don't forget to bring a towel and a change of clothes! We suggest a bath robe or cozy blanket!).
This event will happen rain or shine so please come prepared for wet and cold!

Additional Info:     We encourage everyone to help raise as much money as possible for Special Olympics Lake Norman.   In Lake Norman, Special Olympics athletes are never charged to compete, and we need your help to continue to make this possible. All funds raised through this event will stay local to benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Lake Norman.

 

The Members of the Mooresville Civitan Club and the Junior Civitan Club at Mooresville High School are hosting this event.   There will be coffee and pastries to warm you up after your Plunge!
 

You can take the plunge as an individual, as a team, or donate directly to the event if you want to enjoy from the sidelines. There will also be Special Olympics Lake Norman swag available for purchase.

 

Schedule of Events:

9:30-10:30am: On-site registration and Polar Plunge check-in (be sure to sign the waiver!)

10:30am: Time to Take the Plunge!
 

Registration Fee:     Any amount is eligible for participation in the event!   Many people use our Pledge form so you can have people support you and raise money.  The form is available by clicking here.  Your friends can also donate directly to the Polar Plunge through the Special Olympics-Lake Norman. secured online donation page.   If you raise $75, you will receive a great sweatshirt!
